Tiffany graduated from Brunel University in 1993 with a honours degree in Textile Design and Surface Pattern.
Having spent many years working as a textile designer, she has always enjoyed creating art and wanted to share her passion.
In 2003 she completed a postgraduate certificate in education and became a teacher of art in a leading independant school until 2015.
She now works as a professional artist and is a mum of two children on the autistic spectrum. She produces her painting from her studio at her home, a 17th century Somerset farmhouse in the beautiful Chew Valley.
Her paintings like her garden reflect a sense of fun and broad spectrum of colour. Radiating in happiness the appreciation of the simple details of life.
“Ten years ago, I moved to the beautiful Chew Valley, which is nestled on the edge of the Mendip Hill’s . Since our arrival here, I have been continually inspired and in awe of the natural beauty, charm and calm that radiates from this area.
I have a growing interest in wildlife and love observing the changing seasons, which fuels my passion for gardening. I grow many of the flowers that bounce above our perimeter wall from seed, germinating many of the annuals from the year before.
My Home, animals and surroundings are such an inspiration. I reflect the happiness and energy I draw from them into my work.”
“I paint for pure selfish endulgence and mindfulness. But along the way I wish to spread a little happiness and joy from the simple things that surround us all.
From the small detail that can pass you by unnoticed, but can make you happy to the core.
I love embellishing our home with details of history, pattern, colour and most of all the joy of our family.”
